Also, it's NOT so easy because the Endless Zones are pretty challenging. The art style was a little smoother, and I think that the Plant Food makes it more fun. The microtransactions and IAPs didn't bother me a whole lot because you can still use those plants in some Pinata Parties. Yeah! It was actually a bit of improvement over the first, in fact. There are two more related stamps on the way. Sunflower and backround (c) Popcap and EA. Overall, the game isn't as bad as people make it out to be. The Plant food really enhances the game, the ability to go to the worlds in any order really helps, and there are more boss fights in this one. Plus, the game has many upsides to it as well. I never realized the PvZ1 tall-nut looks ugly until I saw the PvZ2 tall-nut.
Just like the IAPs, the Powerups are completely optional.Īctually, most of the plants look better and smoother than back in PvZ1. Not to mention that there are hard levels that aren't from these worlds, such as the "Don't spend more than x sun" levels. Several of the levels are a pain, such as Dark Ages, Big Wave Beach, Jurassic marsh and ESPECIALLY Neon Mixtape Tour. If you say this, you must've left after Far Future or something.
You can beat every level without them, and several awesome plants (Such as Blover, Winter Melon and Thyme Warp) are absolutely free! Besides, I've bought 3 premium plants, got the torch bundle, and plan to get Power Lily once it gets a discount. I'll admit that I've been getting sick of the prices on plants as of recent, but guess what? These IAPs are completely optional, and they don't force it that much. It has really good plants (Citron is my favorite across all PvZ games), and it provides a good challenge. What's so bad about PvZ2? While I admit it's not as fun as PvZ1, PvZ2 is still a great game, and a well-made sequel. It made over a million dollars within its first week on the iOS app store! It received so many GOTY rewards that a new version was released to cerebrate! It just had to get a sequel! And it did! The first (Well, second, Neopets tried it first) attempt to bring the popular animated corpses we all know and love to kids was a brilliant idea and a huge success. It is loved by casual and hardcore games alike.
